How to close your Casheron account?
Before closing your account, make sure you have no open positions or pending orders. You may terminate the agreement at any time by following the procedure described in the Brokerage Services Regulation (clause 8.1).
Step-by-step instructions
Prepare a written notice.
Fill out the application form available on the Casheron website in the Documents section (10_Формы_поручений.pdf — FORM 5. APPLICATION FOR CONTRACT TERMINATION AND ACCOUNT CLOSURE) stating your intention to terminate the agreement. Include your passport details, trading account number, and the date on which you would like to close the account.
Send the notice to the Company.
Submit the written notice in the manner provided by the agreement (for example, by email to support ([email protected]) with identity verification, or via the form in your personal account).
Wait for pending orders to be cancelled.
Upon receiving the notice, the Company cancels all of your unexecuted orders (buy/sell requests).
Provide instructions for asset withdrawal.
In the application or a separate instruction, specify where your funds and securities should be transferred (details of your bank account or another brokerage account).
Completion of the procedure.
The Company must transfer your assets within 10 (ten) business days after receiving your instruction.
What to know before closing your account
- Account balance
- Before submitting the application, withdraw all funds or provide clear transfer instructions. You cannot close an account with a non-zero balance without specifying where the assets should go.
- Fees
- Upon contract termination, fees are withheld for services already rendered during the billing period (if any).
- Irreversibility
- Check with support whether access to your transaction history can be restored after the account is closed.
- Unresolved matters
- If you have active disputes, unconfirmed transactions, or account restrictions (for example, imposed by financial monitoring), closing the account may not be possible until they are resolved.
